Join us in celebrating European Day of Languages 2021!

The Embassy of Ireland is once again delighted to offer online taster classes of the Irish language to mark European Day of Languages in 2021. This follows our very successful classes in March of this year for Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Week).

These classes are aimed at complete beginners and will give you an introduction to some basic words and phrases of Ireland’s first official language. This may be to use with family and friends or simply to maintain your connection to Ireland.

We are very happy to work with Marlena Gawlik from the Celtic Studies Department at the University of Szczecin, who will be facilitating these classes. We aim for these classes to be as interactive as possible, which we believe will benefit all participants and create a more enjoyable and productive class environment. There will be one class run through English and one class through Polish.

Register early to avoid disappointment, as there is a limited number of places! We hope to see you online on 28th or 29th September!
