COVID-19 Update

The Embassy of Ireland is monitoring the situation in respect of COVID-19 closely. The Embassy recommends that Irish citizens in Poland follow the most recent advice and updates from Polish authorities, which are available from the government at: https://www.gov.pl/koronawirus and the Chief Sanitary Inspector at: http://gis.gov.pl. Some health related information is available in English at: https://www.gov.pl/web/zdrowie/coronavirus. The Polish health authorities’ helpline set up for COVID-19 queries can handle calls and advise in English at 800-190-590. The guidance of the Health Service Executive, the responsible authority in Ireland, is available at: https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/coronavirus/coronavirus.html

Irish Citizens

The Embassy of Ireland strongly encourages all Irish citizens in Poland to register with us at http://citizensregistration.dfa.ie. Tick to select that you are “resident in the destination country” and then tick again to allow us to contact you. If you’re a student, we recommend you put in your university and planned year of graduation under “Organisation details”. We also strongly encourage all Irish citizens in Poland to download the free TravelWise smartphone app and set an alert for Poland.

Visa Applicants

The Embassy of Ireland requests that all visa applicants apply by post and avoid travelling to the Embassy unless necessary. Should you have any queries regarding visa processing, please contact warsawvisa@dfa.ie.
