Covid-19 measures in Poland extended until 31 January

12 January 2021The Polish Government announced additional COVID-19 restrictions from 28 December 2020. These have now been extended until 31 January 2021.
- Passengers entering Poland on public transport from 28 December must undergo home-quarantine for 10 days (students, amongst others are exempted from this. For full list of exemptions please see https://dziennikustaw.gov.pl/D2020000231601.pdf);
- Limited activity permitted in shopping centres - only grocery stores, pharmacies and other essential shops remain open;
- Senior hours remain (for age 60+) in shops, pharmacies, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 12:00;
- Restricted numbers in shops – max. 1 pers./15m2;
- Restaurants closed - takeaway or delivery only;
- Limited places on public transport (50% of seats occupied or 30% of whole area);
- Restrictions on places of worship - max. 1 pers./15m2;
- Participation in assemblies – max. 5 people;
- Hotels and ski slopes will be closed;
- Gyms, fitness clubs and aquaparks closed;
- Prohibition of weddings, communions and other special events;
