St Patrick's Day Parade and Programme

• 11am:  Mass at the Schottenstift (Organisers: Austro-Irish Society)
• 11.45am:  Parade participants meet outside the Schottenstift
• 12pm:  Parade departs from the Schottenstift

• Approx.12.30pm:  Parade arrives at Stiegl Ambulanz, Altes AKH National anthem and speech by Minister Helen McEntee
• 1-3.30pm:  Performances by local dance schools and musicians (indoors)
• 3.45pm:  Ireland vs England rugby match will be shown

Irish Dancing: Salzburg Stube

• 1.00-1.20pm:  Shamrock Dance Company + Vienna Pipes and Drums
• 1.25-1.45pm:  DoDo Academy of Irish Dance
• 1.50-2.10pm:  Irish Dance Academy Vienna
• 2.15-2.35pm:  Irish Dance Center Vienna
• 2.40-3.00pm:  Irish Fire
• 3.10-3.30pm:  It's the audience's turn to try some Irish dance moves!

 Irish Music: Großer Saal

• 1.00-1.30pm:  Spinning Wheel
• 1.30-2.00pm:  Siobhan O’Rourke
• 2.00-2.30pm:  Fan Linn
• 2.30-3.00pm:  Shane Ó Fearghail and the Host
• 3.00-3.30pm:  Ensemble

Afternoon activities, 1-3pm 

     • Demonstrations by the Vienna Gaels GAA club (outside, weather permitting)
     • Face painting by Kinderschminken (outside, weather permitting, alternatively in the Kamin Lounge)
     • Irish language corner (Kamin Lounge), run by The Cake Tree
