Global Ireland 2020 Summit

Welcome to the Global Ireland Summit 2020 which will be based on the themes of ‘Renewal and Recovery’

The Summit is a special gathering of Ireland’s Diplomatic Network from 90 locations all around the world. The focus of the Summit will be to explore the Global Ireland dimension of the new Programme for Government, and on how ‘Team Ireland’ will work together to deliver on the ambition of the programme and help in Ireland’s Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Summit will be delivered in partnership with the National Broadcaster, RTE, and will take place over three days 15-16-17 September. Events will be broadcast live from Studio 5 in RTE, and all of Ireland’s Diplomatic  Network will take part in the event.  Each day a special 2 hour session will be broadcast live on RTE News Now, and this will be complemented by a series of dedicated ‘off-camera’ workshops and discussions.
