Irish keynote speaker at an international event in Sarajevo

The Embassy of Ireland is pleased to announce that Professor Harry White will be the keynote speaker at the 11th International Symposium of Music in Sarajevo, 25-27 October, that is entitled Music in Society. Dr. Harry White is Professor of Musicology at University College Dublin, where he has held the Chair of Music since 1993. He will give the keynote address on “Ireland in the European Era: Historical Concepts and Misconceptions of Irish Music.”
