Ireland - Home of Hallowe'en Poster Competition
Design an original poster, postcard or short movie that celebrates Ireland's connection to Hallowe'en.
Win prizes for yourself and your school.
The prizes are 1 copy each of A History of Ireland in 100 words by Sharon Arbuthnot, Máire Ní Mhaonaigh, Gregory Toner and Joe McLaren (Illustrator) for you and your school, and an Embassy Prize Pack - An Embassy Backpack with an Embassy Water bottle and some Irish goodies as well as a collection of art supplies.
Competition Rules
Competition is open to children 4 to 16 years old.
There will be three judging categories 4-7 years, 8-11 years and 12 and over.
You can make either a poster or a movie.

Sorry, but the competition is only open to children resident in New Zealand.
Posters
- Posters can be in the form of graphic designs, using pen & paper, digital illustrations, or digital version of illustrations.
- Participants can feel free to use any available design applications or programs, but the work must be your own original designs.
- Poster size can be from postcard size up to A4
Movies
If making a movie:
- Movies should be no longer than 1 minute 30 long.
- Movies should be in an easily recognizable format (eg MP4, .MOV, .QT)
- Movies should be no larger than 8MB.

Only one entry per person please.
Please ensure a completed registration form is included with all entries.
We will acknowledge all entries and the Judge’s decision is final.
