News
10 May 2021With immediate effect from Saturday, 8th of May, 2021, all travellers arriving from Jordan to Ireland are no longer required to undergo Mandatory Hotel Quarantine in Ireland following their arrival.
Passengers, however, are required to provide a negative pre-departure RT-PCR test and a complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locater Form at the arriving airport.
As has been the case for some time, travel to Ireland is only permitted on an essential basis. Therefore, the Embassy is currently not permitted to issue any short-visas for travellers to Ireland. Emergency/priority visas are accepted on a case by case basis only, and approval is subject to a decision to be made by the Department of Justice.
