Ambassador Hanney to open Lerchenfelder Night Market, Thursday, 14 September at 18:00

Ambassador Tom Hanney will open this year’s Lerchenfelder Night Market this Thursday evening, 14 September, Ceija-Stojka Platz at 18:00. The market which was a fantastic success last year, is part of a larger coordinated effort by Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (WKO) to actively promote and support the smaller shopping streets of Vienna and the independent art, design and creative business they promote. This year’s Night Market will be Irish themed and feature Irish and Austrian art, design and handicrafts, as well as Irish music by Shane ó Fearghail, the Vienna Irish Session Band along with a performance of Irish dance from the Shamrock Dance Company. Stalls, at Ceija-Stojka-Platz, 1070 Wien, will be open for business 16:00-22:00.There will also be a variety of food stands and Guinness on tap.
