Shades of Green Across the USA March 17th
While we weren't able to celebrate St. Patrick's Day as we normally would, on March 17th, the Ambassador and our consular network around the States presented an evening of celebration of Irish-America and the ties that bind our two countries.
Titled ‘Shades of Green’, our gathering was arranged in partnership with Irish cultural centers and festivals throughout the United States. Featuring some of both nation’s finest artists, the ninety-minute program celebrated Irish-America’s history and traditions, as well as the resilience our community has shown in response to COVID-19. Over the course of the evening, we heard a special message from our Taoiseach Micheál Martin and a poetic tribute to President Joe Biden and, as a community, we remembered and honored those who we have lost this year.
