Doing Business with Ireland

The Embassy is here to help. We work closely with Irish state agencies to promote trade, education exchanges, and inward investment between Ireland and Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

Team Ireland

The Irish Embassy in Hanoi works hard to identify opportunities for Irish companies and organizations to do business in South-East Asia. With the key sectors being agriculture, aviation, construction and infrastructure, education, and telecoms and ICT, the last number of years have seen some notable success stories. The numbers of Vietnamese studying in Ireland have doubled over the last 3 years, and Irish companies have secured important contracts in aviation and construction among other areas. We work closely with all the Irish state agencies to promote Ireland as a business destination and assist Irish companies entering the market, maximizing opportunities for investors, exporters, and other Irish business interests.

We also work closely with the Irish Business Association of Vietnam, a network of Irish business people in Vietnam focused on identifying and developing business opportunities and business links between Vietnam and Ireland.
