2018/2019 Irish Government Scholarships for Vietnamese students

Thirty one young talented Vietnamese have been awarded Irish Government Scholarships for the academic year 2018 - 2019. They will pursue various postgraduate courses including business, media, development and technical disciplines, in different Irish Higher Education Institutions.

A pre-departure event was organised in Hanoi on 27th July to help students to prepare for a year living and studying in Ireland.

Ambassador Cáit Moran attended the event and wished the Irish Aid scholars a wonderful and successful year ahead in Ireland. The Ambassador was joined by a couple of Irish volunteers and alumni who share their experiences about living and studying in Ireland.

Scholarships 2007-2018

There are 31 students for the academic year 2018 – 2019 and they will study in 12 Irish HEIs in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, and Athlone.

Since 2007, more than 250 scholarships have been awarded to Vietnamese students to undertake post-graduate training in Ireland.
