Where can I get a Passport Application Form

Irish Citizens, both adults and children, that have previously held an Irish Passport, can now apply for their Passport online at https://www.dfa.ie/passportonline/

If you are not eligible, or do not wish, to apply online, you will need an original paper application form.  These cannot be sent electronically.  The Embassy can send you an application form by registered mail.

Passport application forms may also be obtained in person from our Pretoria or Cape Town offices.

If you are resident in Zimbabwe, Botswana or Lesotho you can obtain passport application forms from the relevant Honorary Consulate.

Please note: The same form (APS 2 E) is used for all passport applications (adults; children; first time applicants; renewals; replacement of lost stolen or damaged passports).
