We work to promote and protect Irish interests in Slovenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina whether it is by promoting Irish economic and business interests, helping the Irish communities in both countries or by supporting the excellent relations between the Governments. We also provide a range of key consular services to visiting Irish citizens and residents in both countries of accreditation.

We work closely with the Irish communities including through our Emigrant Support Programme. The Irish community play an important role in raising awareness of Irish culture.
Promoting Irish culture is an important part of the Embassy's work. We work with artists and cultural institutions to enhance the opportunities to showcase Irish culture.
St. Patrick's Day is a global celebration of what it means to be Irish and the Embassy uses the opportunity every March to celebrate with Irish communities and to showcase Ireland.
