St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick’s Day on 17th March is a global celebration of Ireland’s culture, heritage, creativity and openness to the world‌.

Every year, events take place across Poland to celebrate St Patrick’s Day and the many ties of friendship between Poland and Ireland. The Embassy supports many of these initiatives, which help to develop Irish-Polish relations.

During the month of March, you can find information on our Facebook and Twitter pages about these events and how St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated in Ireland and around the world.

The “Global Greening” campaign turns famous landmarks and buildings all over the world green on St. Patrick’s Day. We are delighted that many cities and towns across Poland continue this tradition each year.

St. Patrick’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the best of being Irish with our many friends in Poland.
