Ireland will play Poland on Sunday, 11 October in Warsaw in their final match in the UEFA 2016 European Championship qualifiers. We wish the Irish team the best of luck and we have some useful information for Irish citizens travelling to Warsaw for the match. This note includes information on public transport, access to the stadium and contact details for our consular services.

“Flavours of Ireland”, the Irish Polish Chamber of Commerce’s annual celebration of Irish food and drink, took place in the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw on Thursday, 1 October. This is a major showcase event for Irish food and drink exports to the Polish market. 150 guests, including representatives of Irish food exporters, Polish buyers, food journalists and the Irish business community attended.

Ireland's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charles Flanagan, welcomed Poland's Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna to Dublin today for consultations on issues of shared interest. This meeting was part of Ireland's ongoing dialogue with Poland on the EU agenda and international issues.
