Consular Fees

Please note that these fees are updated from time to time to bring them in line with Euro fees charged by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland. Fees below are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).

For administering an oath or receiving a declaration or affirmation, with or without attestation of signature RM 280

For certifying a copy of any document RM 190

For attesting the signature or seal of a foreign authority RM 190

For issuing a consular letter RM 190

Important Notes regarding payment of fees

All fees in Malaysian Ringgit should be made payable by cash at the Embassy or in the form of a cheque addressed to ‘Embassy of Ireland’. Please do not send cash by post.

It is important to provide a full postal address (not a P.O. Box address) and a contact number or email address for all applications.

If you are not able to collect documents personally, you may arrange collection by your representative. In this case, a letter authorising the person to collect your documents on your behalf should be provided to the Embassy. You may also arrange for a courier to collect your documents; however you do so at your own risk and the Embassy cannot accept responsibility for any documents or items lost in transit.
