Young Irish Berliners

Young Irish Berliners

On October 12th the Embassy will open its doors to the young Irish community of Berlin.

Ever growing numbers of young Irish people in their twenties and thirties are calling Berlin home. Representing a wide spectrum from the arts to the start-up scene, hospitality and NGOs, this community is fast-changing and diverse. We want to meet you!

On October 12th we will transform the Embassy into a space to showcase the diversity of Irish talent in Berlin. We want to give you an opportunity to meet each other and exchange experiences. As well as welcoming visual artist David O'Kane, and pop-up performances by musician Simon Fagan, spoken word artist Craig McGuigan and others, we will host a panel discussion looking at life in Berlin, opportunities the city offers and the nature of a young, modern Irish community abroad. We're delighted to have gathered such an exciting mix of panellists to discuss these questions and more:

Crazy Bastard Sauce and HelloGoodPie will be looking after the food, and we'll be supplying the beer, wine and the whiskey (compliments of Jameson!)

Doors at 19:00. Panel to start at 19:30.
Tunes from Ian Blake until late!
