The Last Rose of Summer Concert Series

This year marks the third annual Last Rose of Summer concert series. The Embassy is delighted to partner once again with our neighbours, the Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft e.V. Mendelssohn house, the former company headquarters of the Mendelssohn Bank, has been home to the Embassy since 2010. Over the years we have been privileged to host a number of events together with the Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft e.V. and we are thrilled to have an opportunity to work together again to present The Last Rose of Summer concert series in 2017.

"Borderlands"

The Embassy of Ireland presents "Borderlands", an exhibition by photographer Valentina Culley-Foster. This exhibition comprises two projects "From the North to the Republic" and "'Berlin Wall Trail: Space in Flux" both of which explore borders and their legacy.

Bloomsday 2017

Join us for the 2017 celebrations of Bloomsday on 16 June at the Embassy from 12:30-2:30pm for a staged reading from Ulysses presented by the Curious Fox bookshop, a reading by poet Terry McDonagh and a performance of music from Ken Shakin's opera 'The Wandering', as well as the traditional gorgonzola sandwiches and burgundy, of course.

Embassy Closed 4th & 5th May

The embassy will be closed to the public on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 May for essential training in consular services, passport and visa procedures, crisis preparedness & response, customer service and data protection. This training will help us deliver a better service to you. Irish citizens who require emergency assistance can contact us at + 49 (0) 30 220 720, and a leave a message on the Duty Officer mailbox. This mailbox is monitored regularly outside of public opening hours. Thank you for understanding. As always, we welcome your feedback on possible l improvements to service delivery.
