Visa Office
The Visa Office will be closed between Friday 16th December and Monday 9th January. It takes approximately 6 weeks for a visit visa to be processed, 4 weeks for applications from spouses of EU citizens and 3 weeks for business visas. If you are hoping to receive your visa before the holidays, make sure that you have applied in good time.

Out of Hours Emergency Service
If you are an Irish citizen who requires emergency assistance contact us on: +49 (0) 30 220 720. If you call outside normal working hours, leave a message and a Duty Officer will return your call. Please ensure the message contains the following information: Your name, date of birth, the nature of the emergency, your location, your contact details (mobile or phone number where we can reach you). This duty service is operated from the Embassy in Berlin. The Honorary Consulates do not operate an out-of-hours service.
