Bulgaria Updates Entry Requirements for Travellers from Red Zone Countries

From 1 February 2022, Bulgaria has changed its entry requirements for travellers arriving from abroad. Ireland remains on Bulgaria’s RED ZONE List. All passengers arriving from a Red Zone Country MUST present ONE of the following:

• A valid EU or similar vaccination certificate; OR
• A recovery certificate from COVID; OR
• A negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival; OR
• A negative antigen test taken within 48 hours of arrival into Bulgaria.
