TRADFEST Belgium 2015 - Letter from Ambassador Mac Aodha

Dear Friends,

I am delighted to announce that the Embassy of Ireland will run Belgium’s first ever traditional Irish music festival between 10-14 June, 2015.

TRADFEST Belgium 2015 will see an explosion of vibrant Irish music across Brussels this June with over 50 contributors spread across 10 venues.

Putting together such a comprehensive programme has taken energy, creativity and enthusiasm and we thank all those who have given of their time to make this happen – and acknowledge our generous sponsors shown below.

I would ask you all to help us in spreading the word about this great festival to your own networks.

We will advertise additional events over coming days and as you will see the festival really has something for everyone.

Above all I ask you to purchase tickets for our headline act Kíla who play Bozar on 11 June (tickets are available on the Bozar website).

Please also attend as many as possible of all the other gigs, classes and other activities arranged for the festival – all of which are free entry (again details below).

I know I can count on the Irish community and our friends to make this first ever TRADFEST a huge success.

Yours sincerely,

Éamonn Mac Aodha
Ambassador of Ireland
