On Friday 6 March, the Consulate hosted the 2019 Scotland GAA Awards. We marked another very successful year for Scotland GAA and celebrated the contribution of the GAA community in the promotion of Irish culture in Scotland. The annual GAA awards provide an occasion for the Consulate and Scotland GAA to celebrate the dedication and unstinting volunteer commitment of Scotland GAA members, on and off the field.
We were honoured to host this event as a small token of our appreciation for the wonderful work done by Scotland GAA for the Irish community and local communities across Scotland.
