Team Ireland in Ramallah

The Representative Office works to promote relations between the Irish and Palestinian people. We work closely with the European Union, United Nations and other international organisations in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) in order to achieve a lasting and peaceful resolution to the Middle East Peace Process.

A key element of this work is out support and cooperation with the Palestinian Authority to assist its efforts to build a viable, sovereign and democratic Palestinian State.

We also work closely with the UN Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the oPt, with several NGO partners involved in the protection of democracy and human rights, and directly with the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Find out more about our role in development cooperation in Palestine.
