Minister for European Affairs Helen McEntee TD meets with Hungarian colleague Mr Szabolcs Takács

04 April 2019The Minister for European Affairs Helen McEntee T.D. will meet with Mr. Szabolcs Takács, the Hungarian Minister of State for EU Policies and Coordination tomorrow.
Speaking ahead of the meeting Minister McEntee said:
“I look forward to meeting Minister Szabolcs Takács tomorrow morning to discuss issues including Brexit and the Future of Europe; as well as the rule of law.
“We will also discuss a number of EU policies including the Multi-Annual Financial Framework, Climate Strategy and Competitiveness.
“I will also take the opportunity to thank the Hungarian Government and its people for their total and unwavering support during the Brexit negotiations.”
During his visit Minister Takács will also speak at the Institute for international and European Affairs and visit the border to deepen the Hungarian government’s understanding of how this unique and invisible border operates on a daily basis.
