On 10th December, the Ambassador and his wife hosted a group of 34 Irish Missionaries to a Christmas lunch at the Residence in Lusaka. The Priests and Sisters have been living and working in Zambia, some of them for as long as 50 years, and were delighted to hear the live Irish music performance by Paul O'Sullivan and Jessica Reville.  Ambassador Seamus O'Grady acknowledged the contribution that the Irish missionaries have made to the development of poor communities in Zambia and noted that there was about 1,000 years of service between them.
