Passports

Online application is open to Irish citizens who have previously held an Irish Passport and have not changed their name from their previous passport. If you meet these criteria and your most recent Irish Passport is either currently valid or expired within the past 5 years, then you should apply at www.dfa.ie/passports.

The Consulate continues to process paper applications (APS2E forms) in respect of: first time passport applicants; minors; applicants who have changed name from their previous passport; and holders of passports which expired more than 5 years ago.

If you fit these criteria and require an APS2E passport application form or forms, please enter your details below, clarifying the number of forms required. If you have any other query relating to passports, please check our passport information page or complete our general queries form. Please note that for residents of the Cayman Islands, it is currently proving difficult to make contact by telephone with certain carriers in your area.
