The Ambassador of Ireland to the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr. Paul Sherlock paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Trade and Industry Hon. Charles Mwijage. The discussion focused on Ireland's trading relationship with the United Republic of Tanzania and on the experience of Irish companies who have already invested in Tanzania. The Minister set out the Government's plans to further develop economic zones for manufacturing and affirmed that the Government is working hard to ensure a conducive business environment for foreign direct investment.
