Doing Business with Ireland

How we can help.

As part of a Team Ireland approach, the Embassy works closely with key Irish state agencies to promote trade, tourism and inward investment.

Team Ireland

We work closely with key Irish state agencies to promote trade, tourism and inward investment. With offices here in Spain focused on supporting Irish exporters, including in the food and drink sector, Enterprise Ireland, Bord Bia (the Irish Food Board) and Tourism Ireland all form part of our Local Market Team. The Ambassador oversees the Local Market Team who work together to maximise opportunities for Irish business interests.

We also work very closely with the Spanish Irish Business Network, a dynamic network of companies and individuals that promote business links between Spain and Ireland.  The SIBN currently has 800 members - primarily Irish and Spanish nationals – who represent diverse sectors including technology, finance, food & drink, property, education, industrial goods, pharmaceuticals and professional services. Membership is free and open to all interested individuals.

The network is particularly interested in expanding its contacts with Spanish businesses in all sectors of the economy.
