Ambassador Cooney inaugurates new Smurfit Kappa plant in Ibi, Alicante

Ambassador Cooney travelled to Ibi in Alicante to participate in ceremonies to inaugurate the new Smurfit Kappa manufacturing facility. The new plant is the fruit of a €23 million investment and will employ 100 people. The Ambassador held discussions with Smurfit Kappa executives on the company’s investments in Spain and the economic situation here and in Ireland
