Denis Rafter - Beloved Sinner

Irish actor Denis Rafter brought his one man show Beloved Sinner to the Teatro Español for a two week period. The play provided an intimate and human vision of the last days of Oscar Wilde in Paris at the turn of the last century. More information on the production is also available.

Leading economist Alan Ahearne to give talk on Irish Economy

On 20 November the Embassy, in association with the Spanish-Irish Business Network and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo Abogados, will host a seminar by one of Ireland’s most respected economists, Professor Alan Ahearne. Professor Ahearne’s talk will be entitled “Luck of the Irish? The Turnaround of the Irish Economy”.

Ambassador Harman met with the Foreign Minister of Andorra during a farewell visit on 10 July. He noted the excellent bilateral relationship between both countries, and expressed appreciation for the support Ireland has received from Andorra in multilateral fora.
