Visit of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charles Flanagan, T.D., visited Ljubljana on 1 June. 

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charles Flanagan, T.D., visited Ljubljana where he met with Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec and Prime Minister Miro Cerar.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen bilateral relations between Slovenia and Ireland and to engage in dialogue on bilateral, European and international issues. The visit also served as an occasion to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as well as providing an opportunity to exchange views on areas for strengthening future cooperation.
