The Embassy of Ireland in Sierra Leone will be closed on the following dates in 2023:

• 02/01/2023: in lieu of New Year's Day            
• 20/02/2023: in lieu of Armed Forces Day
• 08/03/2023: International Women's Day
• 07/04/2023: Good Friday
• 10/04/2023: Easter Monday
• 21/04/2023: Eid al-Fitr (moveable)
• 27/04/2023: Sierra Leone Independence Day
• 28/06/2023: Eid al-Adha (movable)
• 27/09/2023: Mawlid al-Nabi (moveable)
• 25/12/2023: Christmas Day
• 26/12/2023: St. Stephen’s Day

The Embassy will close during the Christmas period from 22/12/2023, reopening on 02/01/2024.
