7 Dec: Grotta, the Azorean literary magazine, is having its launch in O'Gilins Irish Pub, this Wednesday December 7th at 7:00 pm (sharp).
Grotta's first edition includes several pieces written by six Irish poets. The magazine goes beyond the limits of the nine islands of the Azores and draws some influence from Irish culture. All welcome.

11 - 13 Nov: Beloved Sinner - the last days of Oscar Wilde in Paris
Written and performed by Denis Rafter, this one-man show, based on the last days of Oscar Wilde in Paris, will be staged at the Teatro Municipal Joaquim Benite, in Almada. The show is in English with Portuguese subtitles.
5 Nov: Rugby: Portugal U18 vs. Ireland U18
Portugal U18 Team welcomes Ireland U18 Team on Saturday,5 November at 5pm, for a friendly match at the Jamor Training Centre.

16 Feb: State Visit of Michael D. Higgins to Portugal in December 2015
President Michael D. Higgins made a State Visit to Portugal from the 8th to the 12th December 2015, at the invitation of the President of Portugal, Aníbal Cavaco Silva. The President was accompanied by Sabina Higgins. This is the first State Visit to Portugal since the visit of President McAleese in 2002.
