The Lisbon Embassy was very happy to welcome Minister Michael Creed at the St. Patrick’s Day Festival which took place in Cascais on 17 March. It featured Gaelic football, hurling, Irish dances, live Irish Music, a chance to learn a little of our native language, and also to taste some of our great dairy produce, and beer! It was great fun!

It was an excellent lively discussion about women in diplomacy with the participation of Sonya McGuiness, DFAT’s director for Strategic HR.
