Irish Culture

Olympia Theatre Dame street Dublin

By showcasing Ireland's rich cultural heritage, we can make long-term and positive connections between the people of Ireland and Poland.

Our Culture

Ireland's culture is a unique national strength and a source of particularly strong links between Poland and Ireland.

What we do

The Embassy is involved in a broad range of cultural activities, which raise awareness of Ireland and enhance the connections between the people of Poland and Ireland.

Embassy cultural initiatives

For more information on the cultural initiatives which the Embassy supports throughout the year, including in the fields of music, literature, language, history and art, see the Embassy's news and events. You can also follow the Embassy on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates on Embassy events and initiatives across Poland.

Fundacja Kultury Irlandzkiej

The Irish Culture Foundation (Fundacja Kultury Irlandzkiej) is based in PoznaƄ and offers an extensive programme of Irish cultural events throughout Poland.

Your Irish Heritage

Some 70 million people around the world claim Irish roots. If you are one of them, there are a number of ways you can celebrate your heritage and discover more about where you came from.

Irish community activities

Over the years, generations of Irish people have made invaluable contributions to all aspects of life in their new home countries, in politics, the arts, business and sport. Their patriotism coexists with the contribution they have made in their new communities.

In Poland, the Irish Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Cumann Warszawa GAA are both active in promoting business and Irish sport. The St. Patrick's Foundation supports Polish charities through its fundraising.
