Ambassador Keown addressed KSAP students and alumni about the year-long review of Irish foreign policy which resulted in January 2015 in the Government launch of a new statement of goals and objectives for Ireland's external engagement. The document, 'The Global Island: Ireland's Foreign Policy for a Changing World' sets out the goals and key areas of focus for the Government's global engagement to safeguard peace, security and economic prosperity, and promote reconciliation and cooperation at home. For more information about 'The Global Island', please see here.

Ambassador Keown's lecture was followed by a question and answer session with students on Irish foreign policy. The lecture was part of the Embassy's programme of engagement with third level institutions across Poland.
