Emigrant Support Programme

We provide grants to Irish organisations around the world, focusing in particular on the most vulnerable of our emigrants.

Presidential Award

The Presidential Distinguished Service Award for the Irish Abroad recognises sustained, distinguished service to Ireland, its communities abroad or its international reputation by those living abroad.

Irish Culture

We work with artists and cultural institutions to enhance the opportunities to showcase Irish culture across Nigeria.

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is a global celebration of what it means to be Irish. The Embassy uses the opportunity every March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Nigeria.
