The Embassy of Ireland is located at 11 Negro Crescent in the Maitama district of Abuja (not far from the junction of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway and Shehu Shagari Road).

Driving on Shehu Shagari Road towards the Expressway, turn left onto Kashim Ibrahim Way and then take the first right turn onto Aguiyi Ironsi Road. Take the second right onto Euphrates Crescent turning just before the Yoruba Mosque on your left. As you turn onto Euphrates Crescent, you will pass the Regent’s School on your left. Drive straight up the hill of Euphrates Crescent, passing the Bulgarian Embassy on your right, and take the next right turn onto Negro Crescent. Follow the road as it curves to the left. You will see the Irish and EU flags of the Embassy straight ahead.

For all questions about visas, please ring the Visa Office on 09 4620612 Monday to Thursday 10am-12pm. Outside of these hours please select the Visa Query in the drop down menu on the Contact Us form and please remember to quote your name, passport number and 8-digit visa reference number (for example 13589624).

Passport applications may be submitted on Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm and on Thursdays from 10am-12pm. We do not accept passport applications at other times. There is no need to make an appointment as applicants are seen on a first-come first-served basis.

For all other matters except visas, please ring +234 9 4621080 between 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 12pm Friday. If you wish to discuss citizenship, consular matters, commercial proposals and cultural activities, we strongly recommend that you request an appointment in advance by using the Contact Us form. A member of the Embassy Team will respond to you within 48 hours."
