28 March: Maputo turns green for St. Patrick's Day!

Every year on 17th March the Irish celebrate their national holiday, St Patrick's Day. The day is about more than just religion, it is about celebrating our history and culture and it is an opportunity to share with the rest of the world all that is great about Ireland. For this reason, on the 17th of March, there are great celebrations all over the world.

28 March: Maputo torna-se verde para o dia de São Patrício!

Todos os anos no dia 17 de Março os Irlandeses celebram o feriado nacional, o dia de São Patrício. É o Patrício da Irlanda. O dia trata mais do que de religião, trata-se de celebrar a nossa história e cultura e é uma oportunidade para partilhar com o resto do mundo tudo o que é importante sobre a Irlanda. Por essa razão, no dia 17 de Março, há celebrações grandiosas pelos cinco cantos do mundo.

10 - 23 February: Photo Exhibition: The Human Face of the Drought

CARE Mozambique, the Embassy of Ireland and the Embassy of Sweden are hosting a photo exhibition “The human face of the drought – Women and Girls coping with drought and climate change in Mozambique” between February 10th - February 23rd in the Spazio Italia Maputo (located on the Av. Kenneth Kaunda, near the US embassy).
