Can I apply for a passport while on holiday in Mexico?

No, you must apply in the country you are normally resident in.

You should only apply to the Passport Office at the Embassy of Ireland in Mexico City if:

• you reside in Mexico
• you live in another of our countries of accreditation or
• in the case of a lost/stolen passport while visiting here.
