St. Patrick's Day Mass

Every year, on St, Patrick's Day, mass is celebrated for the Irish community at 10.30am in St. Patrick's Church, Sliema. This year, Fr. Noel Colahan will give parts of the mass in Irish. Music will be provided by Ruth Corry, an Irish harpist. The Irish Emerald Society is providing refreshments after mass and all are welcome to join us in celebrating our National Day.

Ireland funds IOM project tackling human trafficking

On Tuesday 16th February, 2016 the Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government, the Honourable Dr Owen Bonnici oversaw the signing of an agreement between the Government of Ireland and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Malta to undertake a project to “Improve the Quality of Prosecution and Protection of Victims of Trafficking through the Justice System in the Republic of Malta”.
