The Embassy is located in Whitehall Mansions on the Seafront (Ix-Xatt) in Ta’ Xbiex at the bottom of Ir-Rampa (the ramp). 

You can get to the Embassy from Valletta by using bus number 15 and stop on bus stop 'Embassy'.

If you are coming from Sliema or St Julian's you can board routes 13, 13A, 14 or 16 and stop on bus stop 'Rigord' in Ta' Xbiex.

Opening Hours

The Embassy’s public office is open on an appointment basis as indicated below.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 09:30-12:30 and 14:00-16:00. 
Wednesday: 09:30-12:30

In the event of a genuine emergency involving an Irish citizen or their family, you can contact the Embassy outside normal opening hours by telephoning 00356 9905 8895.

This number should not be used for queries relating to Visa applications.

Alternatively, for emergencies you may contact the Duty Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin at + 353 1 408 2000.
