Go Green for St. Patrick’s Day

St Patrick’s Day is celebrated worldwide every year and it is an opportunity for millions of people around the world to celebrate their connection to Ireland. Through the ‘Global Greening’ campaign, Tourism Ireland has ‘greened’ many iconic buildings to mark St Patrick’s Day such as the London Eye, the Great Wall of China and the Sydney Opera House.

This year, Tourism Ireland aims to extend their ‘Global Greening’ campaign into a new dimension including websites, events, office blocks, shop window displays – and they are inviting you to join in. Create a special ‘greening’ event for the people in your professional and social networks and introduce them to the culture and heritage of Ireland. They may wish to come and experience Ireland for themselves!

Pledge your greening in advance of the 17th of March on Twitter using #GoGreen4PatricksDay. Once you’ve had your greening event please don't forget to share your post and photos, again using #GoGreen4PatricksDay.
