Vacancy at the Embassy of Ireland in Luxembourg

The Embassy of Ireland is recruiting for the position of part time clerk (mornings) and all information on the position are available from DO Recruitment (ref 1510/9). The starting date will be agreed with the successful candidate and it is envisaged that the post will be filled during early December 2015.

The position is principally that of accounts officer and as such the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of all accounts, payments and receipts, contracts, bank accounts and budgets. As this is a small office the officer will be required over time to learn the work of the other colleagues in the office in order to be in a position to cover during absences or assist during busy periods. English as a mother tongue would be an advantage and good basic IT skills would be required.

The position is part time and the successful applicant will work mornings only. The position is covered by the Non-Contributory Pension Scheme for Non-Established State Employees as applicable to locally employed staff. Details of salary etc are available upon request from DO Recruitment.

Candidates should not contact the Embassy directly and any canvassing on behalf of individuals will exclude that candidate.
