The Irish Embassy in Riga took the initiative to launch the inaugural Wild Atlantic Way Film Festival to promote the WAW's runaway success as a tourist attraction and to promote Irish Film with support from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Irish Film Institute.
