Ireland greatly appreciates the work of CMP in restoring loved ones to their families so that they may be mourned appropriately. The time factor is crucial to this work as sites deteriorate and both witnesses to events and relatives of the missing grow older and pass away. CMP fulfils a vital humanitarian role in Cyprus, both by its results and its working methods, employing experts from both communities and searching for the missing of both communities.
