6 Nations rugby brings out the followers

British, Irish and Croatian rugby fans gathered to watch Ireland take on England in the Six Nations match

On Saturday 27 February Ambassador Harrington and UK Ambassador Ian Cliff, hosted a buffet / reception in the History Café in Zagreb to the Ireland vs England RBS Six Nations rugby match.

The event was well attended by Zagreb’s small but enthusiastic rugby community – both international and Croatian.

For the Irish community it was a good opportunity to meet-up and also to enjoy watching some great rugby.

Commiserations to the boys in green this time – but Zagreb’s small Irish community is ready to cheer them on when they meet Italy in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 12 March.
