Do I need a passport to travel between Canada and Ireland?

Yes, you need a valid Passport (or Embassy issued Emergency Travel Document) to travel between Canada and Ireland.

Check with the Canada Border Services Agency for full entry requirements for Canada. As of March 15, 2016, travellers will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before they board a flight to Canada. See Citizenship and Immigration Canada for further details.
