Fees and Where to apply

Online Applications

Paper Applications:

Passport Officer, Embassy of Ireland, Suite 1105, 130 Albert St., Ottawa, ON, K1P 5G4

You can also submit your application in person during office hours.

Fee payable by:

  • Canadian bank draft, money order, or certified cheque: payable to Embassy of Ireland in Canadian Dollars.
  • Euro not accepted, personal cheques are not accepted.
  • Credit card: please include the name on card, card number, and expiry date.  Please do not include the three or four digit security code.
  • Debit cards are not accepted.

Minor, age 0 – 17 years, 5 year passport

Emergency Travel Document

The above fees apply to applications received at the Embassy with a pre-paid registered, express post, or courier envelope, provided by the applicant.  If you would prefer that the Embassy arrange shipping an additional fee applies. Please refer to the fee schedule below for your preferred method of shipping.

Registered Post (domestic)  $15
Courier (domestic)  $60

Jamaica or Bahamas

Please include a prepaid self-addressed courier waybill with your application or submit credit card details so you may be charged the international courier fees, which may be $100 or more.
